Personal Training

Personal Training has become a very popular service with many people experiencing results and improving their overall quality of life.  Our Personal Training clients can expect regular education, support and guidance.  We’ll provide you with the perfect platform for accountability and results - clients will always have someone looking over their shoulder.  Our Certified Trainers provide safety, variety and efficiency and effectiveness each and every time you work out with us.  

Seven out of ten people start an exercise program but then within 2-3 months they have dropped out.  This high drop-out rate is often due to the fact that the individual has not spent any time establishing the right program for them based on their history, goals, individual needs and lifestyle.  All ProActive Personal Trainers spend a good portion of the first session talking with their new client to determine which type of program is going to help them stay motivated so they are consistent enough to progress, experience results and succeed.  We have established a 4 step process for motivation that we teach all of our clients to ensure they stick to the program.

We have helped so many different clients over the years from beginners, elderly individuals, people experiencing back, neck, knee and shoulder problems, mountain climbers, competitive skiers and boarders, competitive cyclists, figure skaters, triathletes, runners, pre/post-natal, overweight/obese clients, diabetic individuals, osteoporotic individuals and many more.  We are completely confident that regardless of someone's special considerations, we will be able to help them achieve a higher level of health and fitness. 


Small Group/ Group X Programs

We invite you to discover what so many of our clients already know - Group Personal Training can make achieving your fitness goals more enjoyable and motivating than you ever thought possible.

Whether it’s the great music, the fun atmosphere, the motivation from the trainer, the camaraderie and energy of the group, or the variety in programming, our clients love our group training sessions. We have designed our group training schedule to offer flexibility and a balanced approach to fitness.

Whether your goal is to lose body fat, sculpt your muscles, tone up your hips, thighs, and abs, improve your flexibility or relax and rejuvenate, we’ve got a group session for you! Group sessions are available every day and include; Kick Boxing, Mat Pilates, Indoor Cycling, Bosu, Gliding, Yogalates, Tabata Boot Camp, Dynamic Core and more. Classes begin as early as 6:15 in the morning and are offered throughout the day and after work.

All group training sessions are led by certified personal trainers, and each group typically has a range of 5-8 participants. This allows for a high level of individual attention and maximizes the potential for outstanding results.

Pilates Reformer Training

In his book Return to Life through Contrology, Joseph Pilates presents his method as the art of controlled movements, which should look and feel like a workout (not a therapy) when properly manifested. If practiced with consistency, Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.   Our Pilates Reformer system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginner to advanced or to any other level, in terms of your specific goals and/or limitations.  Private Reformer sessions are available as half hour or full hour sessions.  We also feature one hour 2:1 Partner Reformer sessions for those looking to work out with a friend or family member and stretch their fitness budget.


SurfSet Fitness

SURFSET® brings one of the world's most athletic & fun sports to the personal training & small group worlds, giving fitness enthusiasts the opportunity to experience this one-of-a-kind workout with no ocean in sight.

The program combines rotational core training with isometric movements to build a long lean torso, and elevates the heart rate to torch fat with Wave Runners, Shark Kicks, Duck Dives and of course, the signature surf move...the Pop-up. All of the exercises are beach inspired & total-body, and include strength, cardio and flexibility based movements. The instability of the SURFSET® board improves athleticism by constantly causing core muscles to react to a dynamically shifting platform. A single SURFSET® session can burn anywhere from 500-900 calories in just 45 minutes...the same results you would get from a few hours of surfing.

We have a wide variety of SurfSet session times that feature 1 on 1 instruction or group instruction for all clients and fitness enthusiasts. Regular massage provides therapeutic relief to people of all ages and all walks of life, from the competitive athlete to the home gardener and to those with beyond busy lives.

While finding a reason to treat yourself to a massage may be easy, finding the time to do so may be more challenging. Taking time to take care of your health is frequently difficult to prioritize — keep in mind that one-to-two hours of massage can possibly make everything you do less stressful and less painful, allowing you to be more productive with the rest of your day!
